Another Visitor from Canada

Casey took the Victoria Clipper hydrofoil from Victoria B.C. to stay with us Friday and Saturday. She spoiled Marshall with love and attention - and lots of gifts too :^). We all can't wait to try the aromatherapy soap she made for us. Perhaps the lavender will calm Marshall down for bed time.

Karla and Marshall

Marshall spends the day with Karla and her children when we are at work. I often feel fortunate to have connected with her family. I was on three waiting lists for daycare. In fact, I am still on those waiting lists because they don't have openings yet. It is almost impossible to get an infant spot at a daycare unless you wait two years.

When I was pregnant with Marshall last year, Karla used to wait with her kids for the school bus which stops right beside our house. I asked her if she knew of a daycare (since she has kids) and a few days later she offered to watch Marshall after I went back to work. He's been welcomed into her family for the last two months and as you can see from the photos, he is very happy!

Outside on the Deck

The weather was beautiful this weekend! It was so warm today that we both spent two hours outside. Marshall was on the deck playing in his Exersaucer while I did a lot of digging and planting. Currently, one of Marshall's favourite toys is a citrus reamer (last photo).

Bath Time

Marshall loves splashing around in the water so much that we all signed up for a Tots Swim series at the local pool. Marc was washing his hair tonight and tried giving him a Mohawk. Nice try - there isn't quite enough hair yet.

Marshall Eating a Mango

OK - he's eating just a slice of mango, not the whole thing (yet). I should have tried a teething biscuit. The mango kept slipping out between his fingers and his hands and he eventually got frustrated because he really wanted that slice of mango!

Playing with Toys

I was cleaning up the living room and Marshall was supervising me. The first photo shows him pulling on a lady bug that dangles out of his fabric story book. He has another fabric book with a dangling black spider. He loves shoving the bugs in his mouth and he loves to chew on them. I don't know if he likes the books but he sure loves the bugs.
