First Food!
Big day for the little guy - he got to try some "real" food. Marshall sits with us at the dinner table every night. I noticed him intently studying grandma's food the last few evenings - what a perfect chance to see if he's ready for some grown up food.
We didn't have rice cereal (how boring!) but we found a banana and mashed it up in some formula. We gave him a teeny bit of it and it came back out the first two times. He ate the third spoonful of banana that Marc gave him - yay! We were so glad that he didn't cry.

Photos from Today
We had a busy day! Here's a photo of Marshall bouncing on an excercise ball earlier this morning. We had our monthly moms' group meeting, went for Hawaiian food with Grandma Cheryl and Jim, walked around Pike Market, and checked out some great views on Queen Anne hill. The weather has been perfect the last three days - the view photo shows a rare glimpse of Mount Ranier.

Halloween in February
Grandma Cheryl and Jim gave Marshall a pumpkin Halloween costume last year but since he was only two weeks old at Halloween it didn't fit him. While I was at work yesterday they dressed him up and took some cute photos of him in his costume. He fits it perfectly - too bad it's not Halloween! Marc thinks he looks like a carrot but I think he just looks cute.
